Cookies: We use our own cookies to track your involvement in JokeEmail.com, and our advertisers may also use cookies to track your preferences. Unfortunately, these are things that we cannot change. Netscape

• Click on Edit at the top of the Netscape window.
• Click on Preferences from the bottom of this Edit menu. A preferences box should then open on the screen infront of you.
  
• Click on the word Advanced. This will then change the menu and you should be able to see the Cookie section on the menu in the bottom right hand corner.
• To enable Cookies simply click on the radio button next to "Accept Cookies". Also to stop Netscape bringing up a warning dialog box when you are about to enter a site which has Cookies on it simply remove the tick (if there is one) from "Warn me before accepting a cookie" by left clicking on the box next to that phrase.
• Once you have done this simply click on "OK" at the bottom of the Preferences box and your changes will be saved.

Internet Explorer

• click on Tools and select Internet Options.
• The Internet Options box will open.
• Click on the word Security. You will see the button Custom Level at the bottom of the screen. Click on this.
• You will now be able to scroll down until you see Cookies section. This allows you to enable and disable Cookies. Alternatively you can ask Explorer to prompt to refuse or accept a Cookie every time.
• Once you have done this simply click on "OK" at the bottom of the box and your changes will be saved.

Email Address Privacy: We promise that any email addresses that you provide us with to send you Joke Email will only be used by us to send you Joke Email. We will not sell, trade, or distribute your email address under any circumstances to other companies or individuals.

COPPA: The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, effective April 21, 2000, applies to the online collection of personal information from children under 13. Joke Email is not intended for a young audience, but we understand that some children under 13 may try to subscribe to Joke Email. Parents of children may contact us to discuss our privacy arrangments here, but we must stress that Joke Email is intended for an adult audience and is not suitable for a young child.
The only information collected on this site are email addresses, and information taken passively through cookies. The cookies are used to track the user's operations on the site, while the email address is used exclusively for sending Joke Email. Information collected is NOT disclosed to any third parties. Parents of children under 13 can review the child's personal information, ask to have it deleted and refuse to allow any further collection or use of the child's information.
